Montrose Roundabout

The Montrose Township Group is currently collating the results of the Roundabout Survey, to which we had an overwhelming response. It is clearly an issue of great significance to the people of Montrose and surrounding areas. This was demonstrated by the number of responses, and the passion they revealed.

The Montrose Township Group appreciates your feedback and will soon meet with David Hodgett MP to pass on the results, ensure proper community consultation, and progress matters. The aim is to promote local traffic flow, ease gridlock for those trying to access the roundabout from local roads, and most importantly to provide safe access to pedestrians.

Reminder: Before the last election David Hodgett (Liberal Member for Kilsyth) pledged $1.2m for traffic signals to help solve the roundabout's problems (see press release).
