Montrose Roundabout

As visitors to this website will know, MTG in recent years has taken on board the community's concerns about the Montrose roundabout. We organised a survey, and presented the results to David Hodgett MP, who kindly undertook to follow up with VicRoads. As a result, a meeting was held at the Town Centre just before Christmas and VicRoads presented their analysis to those who were able to be there (despite the short notice) and heard community feedback.

Following that meeting, VicRoads have come to a decision and Mr Hodgett presented this at a "listening post" held at the roundabout on Saturday, 31 March. See the news section of this website for more detail.

Reminder: Before the last election David Hodgett (Liberal Member for Kilsyth) pledged $1.2m for traffic signals to help solve the roundabout's problems (see press release).
